Urology services we offer

At Franklin County Medical Center, we understand that each person’s needs are unique. That’s why we strive to provide personalized care. We always take the time to listen to your concerns and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. You’ll achieve your best health with our compassionate and comprehensive care – whether through lifestyle modifications, medications or minimally-invasive surgical procedures.

Our urology services include the following:

  • Evaluation and diagnostic testing: We use the latest diagnostic techniques to accurately assess your condition and develop an effective treatment plan. Blood tests, urine tests, imaging tests (to identify structural problems) and biopsies (to look for damaged or cancerous tissue) are options used in the diagnostic process. We also use cystoscopy (special hollow tubes with a tiny camera on the end) to examine the inside of the bladder to make sure there are no abnormalities or other problems which might be causing your symptoms.
  • Treatments: We offer several treatments, including medications, lifestyle modifications and minimally invasive surgical procedures, such as robotic-assisted surgery, to treat urologic conditions. We also provide the latest treatment options, including eCoin therapy, used to stimulate nerves related to bladder control and Bulkamid, a urethral bulking agent used to treat stress urinary incontinence.
  • Follow-up care: We provide close follow-up care to ensure your condition is managed correctly after treatment.
