We love what we do.
Our therapists provide quality, coordinated treatment – working with your primary physician or specialist to strengthen your body and improve functionality for a full recovery after an injury or surgery.
“There’s nothing more rewarding than talking to patients, working with them, and getting them back to what’s important in their lives.”
We provide a full range of rehabilitation care all within the FCMC campus.
Working with your doctor to determine what level of therapy you need, we provide treatment at every stage of recovery: in the hospital, outpatient setting, nursing home, and home health. Post-surgical recovery? Recovery from a sports injury? Dealing with tendonitis or low back pain? We can help! Our therapists get you back to the quality of life you want and deserve.

It’s not just about getting back to work; it’s about improving the occupation of your daily life. Known as the McGyvers of therapists, we use adaptive equipment and therapy for all ages. The outpatient and postoperative stages focus on improving fine motor skills of hands, elbows, and shoulders. Our therapists are also skilled in the treatment of numerous neurological conditions (MS, Parkinson’s, strokes, dementia and head injuries), developmental disabilities and work with children that have cognitive and physical disability needs. We also perform home health visits to assess home needs and changes that will help you be functional and safe!
Clinicians: Shirley Shaw, MOTR/L, Matthew Dowding, OTR/L
From casual recreation (yes, we’re talking to you weekend warriors) to team sports injuries, we want to get you back in the game. Working with a group that often includes your primary provider, an orthopedic surgeon, and athletic trainer we create a rehabilitation plan with your total health in mind. Need to improve your athletic endurance? We not only provide the Athletic Trainer for Preston High School but for a community of athletes who want specific training to improve agility, strength, and endurance.
Clinicians: David Allred, ATC, Leo Robertson III, DPT (Director of Physical Therapy), Todd Thomas, MS PT
Our pathologists focus on speech, language, social communication, and cognitive communication therapies, as well as swallowing disorders. We provide treatment to those recovering from an illness or surgery, individuals with autism and to those that simply want to learn how to communicate better. We bring compassion, patience, and understanding with individualized plans for every patient.
