FCMC Sleep Lab Awarded ACHC Accreditation

Franklin County Medical Center (FCMC) proudly announces its Sleep Lab is approved for accreditation for the Sleep Program through the Accreditation Commision for Health Care (ACHC).

The ACHC recently conducted an on-site survey of the FCMC Sleep Lab and concluded that the Sleep Lab met the intent of compliance with the ACHC Accreditation Standards. The granting of the accreditation finds that the FCMC Sleep Lab operates at a level of quality, integrity, and effectiveness consistent with its standards. Accreditation is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Darin Dransfield, FCMC CEO, stated that the “accreditation by ACHC reflects our dedication to providing hospitality and excellence in meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care”.
