Influenza Vaccine
This season, the influenza vaccination is more important than ever to protect yourself and the people around you. In order to reduce the burden of respiratory illnesses, hospitalizations and to help protect the vulnerable populations during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, everyone 6 months and older should get the flu vaccine.
Our physicians recommend getting your shot in mid-October to late November. If you have specific questions, talk to your doctor or a physician that can recommend the type and dose that’s right for your health needs.
At Franklin County Medical Center, we will continue to offer flu shots for the community through our on-campus clinic. Here’s some quick information for getting your flu shot this season:

Office Hours: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Cost: Most medical insurance covers the cost. If you would like to pay cash at time of service, the cost is $25
Types of Vaccination: We only offer injection at this time and don’t offer nasal spray. There is a high dose vaccine that is licensed specifically for those 65 and older.
