Franklin County Medical Center welcomes Doctor Spencer B Heninger to the Medical Specialist Clinic. Doctor Heninger is a foot and ankle specialist that has recently completed his surgical residency training at the University Hospital and Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Heninger and his family moved to Cache County in the summer of 2005 when he started his practice of podiatry.

        Dr. Heninger will be available for emergency lower extremity service. As one of the most recent associates of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Heninger is committed to providing the highest foot and ankle care available in the area. During his training in Salt Lake City, he spent considerable time working in the University of Utah Diabetes Center learning the latest on diabetic foot care, and also in the Salt Lake Orthopedic Clinic at St. Mark's Hospital understanding lower extremity biomechanics and refining his surgical skills.

        Dr. Heninger enjoys skiing with his wife and teaching his kids to ski. His wife, DeAnne, also completed graduate school at the University of Utah in social work. They recently welcomed their second child to the family.
