Granting WishesThe FCMC Volunteer Auxiliary spends it's hard earned money on granting wish lists to hospital departments. Wish lists include equipment for bettering services at the medical center. During last months Auxiliary meeting, three wishes were granted to the following: IT department for a "Fortigate" (a network appliance that is a combination firewall and anti-virus for facility computer networks), Home Health received funding for a Red Cross certified baby sitters course and Medical Records received funds for electronic medical dictionary software. The wish list is open year round to fund departments needing equipment.
