Richard Westerberg,
Chairman
Richard Westerberg is currently
serving as Chairman of the Franklin County Commission, a position he
assumed in January of 2007. He also serves on the Idaho State Board
of Education. Richard is a graduate of Utah State University and
served four year in the U.S. Army in a number of leadership
positions including Company Commander.
Richard was on the Preston
District Board of Education for twelve years. He and his wife Julie
live in Preston and are the parents of six children.

DalVon 'Mick'
Atkinson
Mr. Atkinson was born and
raised in Franklin County. He served four years active duty in the
U.S. Air Force and four years in the Air Force Reserves. He attend
Stevens-Henager College and Weber State College, majoring in
electronic technology, accounting, and business
management. DalVon worked 28 years as a civilian for the U.S. Air
Force in Communication, Production Management, and Logistics
Management. He managed projects on the Titan, Minute Man, and the MX
missile systems.
DalVon successfully ran a
cattle ranch in Treasureton for 22 years. He retired in 1994 and ran
for Commissioner in 2004. He lives with his wife on 40 acres in
Riverdale.

Robert Dirk Bowles
Robert Dirk Bowles’ roots grow deep in Franklin
County. He owns and operates Bowles Dairy in Fairview on the very plot
of land his great-grandparents settled in 1897.
Dirk has served on the Franklin County Planning and Zoning Board, Cub
River Irrigation Board, Boy Scouts of America as well as many years of
service in his church.
He was elected Franklin County Commissioner, District 3 in November 2006
for a four year term.
Dirk and his wife, Patricia, have four children.
